PS Balls
PS Balls, a by product of Steel Slag, are manufactured using Slag Atomising Technology (SAT) and serve as a replacement for Black Beauty, Garnet and Copper Slag. Available in Australia only from Sodablast and it's dealer network, the manufacture of PS Balls uses no virgin resources, less water and turns the chemicals inherent in slag into an inert compund. In addition, from the user's point of view they are :
- Cheaper (up to 50% less than Garnet when bought in quantity)
- Generate very little dust (the attached photos show the difference between dust levels of PS Balls and Copper Slag)
- Can be re-used several times (up to nine times has been recorded, although the recommended number is three)
